New Year, New Focus: Protect Our Working Lands

This new year brings many changes. Starting in 2025, I will be working with American Farmland Trust (AFT) in helping to protect the nation’s working lands (ranches, farms, and other ag land) to conserve natural resources, ensure that we have ways to grow and raise healthy food, restore watersheds, and provide many other ecosystem services.

I will be serving in an AFT position dedicated to helping place working lands into conservation easements, further develop a community support network, and assist producers to voluntarily transition to restorative, regenerative, and conservation ag practices.

This role is in alignment with Connecting Ag’s vision and mission, and I am excited to begin the new year by joining the team at American Farmland Trust.

If you are a farmer or rancher wanting to learn more about conservation easements, please contact us.
